Best Ayyam-i-Ha Ever!

Today was our much anticipated Ayyam-i-Ha party!!!  Hunter felt a little overwhelmed by the sheer volume of kids in his house and played in his room for most of the time, saying it was too loud.  But Hannah Jane and Haven had a ton of fun and I think their guests did too!  It was a day we'll never forget!

We made gift bags with stationary stuff and cute little Happy Ayyam-i-Ha tags for the kids and mini Victory roses for the moms.

We hung the bunting and giant paper stars!

And our friends started rolling in to make crafts...

and snacks to put in the gift bags for the residents at the Alzheimer's ward.

We visited Legacy House and handed out treats!

Haven got some sugar :)

And apparently this woman recited a vulgar poem for the kids, and then gave some big - and we're talking big- kisses!  Talk about awkward!  And it couldn't have happened to a sweeter family!  I felt terrible!

Then we took over Casper's for some scoops with friends!

This was EASILY the best day of Ayyam-i-Ha these kiddos have ever had!  Thank you sooooooo much to the families that celebrated with us!  It made our entire year to spend this special time with you!

  1. We had so much fun! Thanks for inviting us. And the roses certainly brighten up our kitchen table during all this snow! Thank you.
